Internet has been one of the most important discoveries for the human kind. It is amazing how something like internet has changed the face of development. Sending messages to people far of, talking face to face even when you are miles apart, blogging, putting up your recorded videos for everyone to see, watching movies online and god knows what else. Though internet has been a boon, there have been certain disadvantage of its availability too especially when it comes to the usage of internet by children.  Nowadays every house has a computer and an internet connection. And it is very easily accessible to children. They use it to play games, watch movies online, for social networking etc. Free movies and videos are available for them on many sites and they have access to all kind of stuff without the supervision of their parents. It sounds scary but it is the truth.

Most of the parents are working and they don’t get time to monitor what their children do once they come back from the school. All they can do is trust their children blindly. Although the parents and the children are not to be blamed fully but the fact remains that there are things available on the internet that can prove to be very harmful for the development of a child. It is not feasible to control the sites from featuring such movies since they cater to the rest of the population too but it is definitely possible to keep a check on underage children and monitor what they view and how. It is the parent’s responsibility to keep their kids from such sites so that their childhood is not affected.  It may not be very easy thing to de but it is definitely not impossible either.
